Lookalike vs Tavus
How Lookalike and Tavus Conversational Video Interface (CVI) differ on price, setup, knowledge and channels.
Facts checked October 23, 2026 from Tavus’s own pages.
The short answer
Tavus and Lookalike both make digital humans that hold live video conversations. They are built for different starting points. Tavus is developer-first: an API and SDKs for teams building video agents into their own product, with a no-code builder alongside. Lookalike starts from the finished experience: a digital human with its own page, website embed, inbox and booking tools, live in about a minute, with an API for developers who want one.
On price, Lookalike Pro works out to about $0.15 a video minute. Tavus’s paid plans work out to roughly $0.24 to $0.37 a minute, and its overage rate is not shown on its pricing page.
